...links to Consciousness?

A disclaimer: None of these links are connections to the one an only Answer to the questions of our lives.

Each of them, however, touched me in some significant way and opened up at least one aspect of my awakening as I ventured along my path.

From scientists to intuitive healers. From psychotherapists to “light beings!” From environmentalists to saints. All of these teachers or websites have something of value to impart, if only we seek out these gifts!

Take what you can from any information that resonates with you. Each teacher listed below has in common with all the others a Universal Message. Ultimately, regardless of the words they use, or the audience they are trying to reach, their message is about Awakening into Consciousness to find Peace and Joy within.

  • Karen Bishop

“The purpose, desire and passion behind What’s Up On Planet Earth? is in bringing a higher level of evolutionary awareness to souls who are summoning this energy, and to connect and assist us during the now rapid ascension process many are experiencing.”

(Karen may be a little “out there” for many of the more “traditionally” spiritual people, but again, take whatever information that resonates for you and use it for your own growth.)

World as Lover, World as Self - Courage for Global Justice and Ecological Renewal, Parallax Press, 2007.

“The most remarkable feature of this historical moment on Earth is not that we are on the way to destroying the world—we’ve actually been on the way for quite a while. It is that we are beginning to wake up, as from a millennia-long sleep, to a whole new relationship to our world, to ourselves and each other.”

“Confronting and solving problems is a painful process, which most of us attempt to avoid. This avoidance results in pain and the hampered ability to grow both mentally and spiritually. Drawing heavily on his own professional psychiatric experience, Peck suggests ways in which confronting and resolving our problems, and suffering through the changes, can enable us to reach a higher level of self-understanding.”

“Lunar astro-speak with real world correlations: Forget sun sign astrology. Where's your moon? Your Saturn? Your North Node? Your moon sign describes your requirements for emotional fulfillment. Saturn symbolizes your fears. Your North Node points the way to your Life Purpose. What are YOU living for?”

(Whether or not you believe that astrology has real value, Linda’s perspective on the world from an astrological point of view is fascinating to say the least. Worth a read.)

“When you are present in this moment, you break the continuity of your story, of past and future. Then true intelligence arises, and also love.

The only way love can come into your life is not through form, but through that inner spaciousness that is Presence.

Love has no form.”

Asa traditional psychotherapist, Dr. Brian Weiss was astonished and skeptical when one of his patients began recalling past-life traumas that seemed to hold the key to her recurring nightmares and anxiety attacks.

(I was struck by the transformation this Harvard-educated self-proclaimed cynical psychiatrist experienced when he came face to face with the apparent past lives of some of his patients! Believe what you will…)

(Although she anthropomorphizes and masculine-izes God, her message of Love is abundantly clear.)
